Kitty Moo Moo

I really loved Tokidoki's Bocconcino and thought it would make a perfect Christmas gift for my youngest.  She adores cows and kitty plushies.
There was just one small problem.  Besides being unbearably cute, nothing about it really stood out.  It would just look like another cow plush added to her collection.  At this point I realized I had to roll up my sleeves and make one for her.

If Tokidoki's Bocconcino was made of chocolate and strawberry milk🍓🍫

I thought she would look much cuter sitting down

Little pink heart :)

I had tons of fun making her.  Tokidoki plushes/toys are absolutely adorable!  I purchased a Donutella Plush in the past and she is so much cuter in person.

Steven Plushie from Steven Universe

This is something I've been working on and off for about a year.  I was not happy with my first attempt with Steven's head which will never see the light of day because, well to put it nicely, it wasn't my best.  Yeah it was bad but nonetheless I wasn't going to give up that easily.  I felt very new (and still do) to sewing at the time and hoped within time I would learn a couple techniques with lots and lots of practice.  A year and 2 months later I decided to give it another try and this time It was turning out a lot better then my first attempt.

Sans Plushie

This past week was my oldest daughters birthday and she REALLY wanted a Sans plushie.  The love for Undertale is still strong with this one.  Actually this was supposed to be a Christmas gift but she was falling behind on some of her grades at the time.  So until I saw some improvements in her grades no plushie.  Now that school is out and she did pretty well in her grades, as promised, I made her the Sans she wanted.

Before anything else I want to say this plushie was totally inspired by Sewbro's Sans plush.
She is extremely talented and I admire her plushie making skills.  I used her guide to make him cause my daughter totally fell in love with her version.  A big thank you to Sewbro for sharing her process with the rest of the world.

Sans measures about 17 inches tall

His jacket and slippers can be removed

My daughter and I thought his stripes would look better on the side of his pants instead of in the front.
A combination of fleece, minky and alova frabric was used to create Sans.

+ The guide/process  I used.
+And if you're looking to get into some reading this summer and/or just
enjoy reading comics Ellen (Sewbro) also works on her adventure webcomic called Parisa.
My daughter and I are loving it and we can't wait to see what happens next. http://parisa-comic.tumblr.com/

Cookie Cat

Cookie cat is not only a frozen treat with an all new taste!  A pet for your tummy and is super duper yummy... He's now a soft cuddly plush.

My little one celebrated a birthday recently and since she loves everything and anything related to Steven Universe Cookie Cat was good pick to make into a soft cuddly friend.
She loves him to pieces and now carries him around everywhere.

The pink minky fabric I used to make this actually came from my daughters crib set that she out grew long ago.  I held on to it because it had different fabric textures and cute designs.  This particular plush has a little bit more of a sentimental value because of it.  Well at least for me anyway. :)

Materials Used:
Minky
Cuddle soft fabric
and polymer clay

Temmie :3

After completing Undertale a few months back I wanted to create a little Temmie to sit by my desk.
I just think she's adorable.  And yes I helped Temmie out so she can pursue that higher education.  You go girl.  Get that education.

Holiday stocking 2 - Undertale + Frisk Plushie

Undertale... the indie game that blew up out of nowhere and for very good reasons.  The story is absolutely wonderful!  It pulls you in and before you know it you end up falling in love with each and everyone of the characters.  I personally am not done with my play through.  Last I played I was ready to fight Mettaton but I have seen many let's players play through the game and I'm still actually watching cause I can never get enough of this game.
No spoilers here.  You have to experience the game for yourself.
But I'm pretty sure if you're still here reading all of this then you're familiar with Undertale.

My daughter is a HUGE fan so the theme for her stocking this year was obvious :)

I also wanted to make a Frisk plush for myself.  A reminder to always stay Determined.

*wind blows dramatically through Frisks hair* ...at least that's what it looks like to me :3

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Stocking - Merry Rickmas!

This year I made a couple of  Christmas stockings for my family.  My husband was still using his one and only Christmas stocking that he had since childhood.  He was long overdue for a replacement.  Since he's a HUGE Rick and Morty fan it was simply a no brainer what the theme of his stocking would be.

Since there's some space left over I'll probably add more to it for the holidays next year.

I also made him a Tiny Rick for his desk.

TINY RICK!

Tiny Rick was made using polymer clay and his clothes out of different types of fabrics.

Mr. Itward

For those who've had the pleasure of playing Fran Bow or watching your favorite LP play through the game
than you are well aware of the dapper Mr. Itward.

I like to think of him as Frans guardian angel. c:

I thought the scene where Mr. Itward is reading Fran a story was really sweet and I wanted to try and recreate that moment.

"I will always take care of you my dear" - Mr. Itward

Mr. Itward was created using different types of fabrics.
His skeletal figure, as well as some of the small details in his suit, was made using polymer clay.

Fran Bow Plush-Doll

Fran Bow, a recently released Indie game created by Killmonday Games.  It's a tale of a young girl named Fran who is on a journey to find her way home.   What makes this game so intriguingly beautiful is the dark yet whimsical style that is experienced throughout the game.  Natalia Figueroa and Isak Martinsson are the two creative minds that worked on Fran Bow for the past 3 years to bring this game to life.
I just finished the game this morning and I have to say I loved it!  Of course the selfish part of me was sad when it ended because I wanted more.  I was pulled in by the story and captivated by the art style.  Definitely give Fran Bow a go and even if you are not sure if this game is for you, there is a free demo available so why not give it a shot.  Links will be provided at the end of post as well as a link to find out more information about the game.

    And now...
time for pics!
