This post is long over due. With October projects I had planned for the blog plus making costumes for my kids, to organizing and getting rid of stuff in my home that we no longer use, which I'm still working on, I just couldn't find the time nor the energy to squeeze this post in before October. I wanted to post Halloween themed stuff so I held back till it was all over. Now that I'm getting a little bit more than 3 hrs of sleep I can finally get back to working on future projects (yay!)
Back in July I started working on a Markiplier Drunk Minecraft plush. For those who don't know Markiplier is a YouTube Let's Player who I have been following for almost a year now. One of his popular LP videos was a series he started back in August of 2012 called Drunk Minecraft. Upon watching you quickly see that Mark and his two friends, Wade and Bob, explore the world of Minecraft through building and creating certain task or goals or even playing on specially designed maps all in the name of good fun. Without giving too much away I'm just gonna leave it at that. I quickly became a huge fan of the series and wanted to make my very own plushies of the trio. As I stated before I started with Markiplier's Minecraft skin character first.

I then started on Wade's aka LordMinion777 Plush. I started following his channel early 2014.
While making his Minecraft plush something really awesome happened. Wade set up a PO Box to receive fan mail. It crossed my mind to maybe send him the plush plus Make one for Molly, Wades better half ♥, especially because it's how they first met each other, through Minecraft. Honestly I didn't think too much about it. Then he mentioned he was having a fan meet up. I knew I had to be there. How awesome would it be to actually hand him this minecraft plushie although not complete at the time but with a little bit of speed sewing that would be really awesome. If I haven't said it before I'll say it again. I love making stuff for people. I would definitely work on plushies more if I had more time.

I was a bit nervous at the fan meet up. Here's someone that I watched over several months play these awesome games with some of his friends whose been able to put a smile on my face on difficult days. And here I am about to give him something I originally never even intended of ever even leaving my home.
To make a long story short Wade and Molly were very cool and down to earth. They made sure to say hi to everyone, answer any questions fans had to ask and take pictures. Everyone was treated like an equal and it was very humbling. I didn't say too much with the risk of me sounding like a total idiot, my nerves can get the best of me and my mind goes blank. But it's something I'm working on. Yay! for work-in-progress! They really liked the plushies and the overall experience was pretty neat. I couldn't wait to go home, order some fabric and start on the next two.
Next I started on Bob's aka Muyskerm's Plush.
I followed his channel right from the beginning.

I know they have heard this more times than they can keep track anymore but I wanted to say thanks to all you guys. Especially Wade and Molly.
Even when I feel like things are falling apart around me I can escape even if it's just for 15 or 20 min and know that I'll come out smiling in the end. And that can mean the world to someone when they feel like they have nothing. With so much sincerity Thank You guys.
