Hatty Hattington Feltie Plush

Well after working on and off for the past week on this little guy he is finally done. Meet Mr. Hatty Hattington.

Who is Hatty Hattington?  Well...that's a good question as I'm quite unclear myself. But what I do know from playing Battleblock Theater is that Hatty is a good friend that needs some saving. Want to know more about the game?... well than check out the game for yourself and you can start by visiting the Behemoth's website and be sure to check out their other games as well.
The inspiration for creating Hatty came from my 2 and 1/2 yr old daughter who happens to have a soft spot for Hatty.  Her face would light up at the mere sight of this little guy as she bobs her head from side to side to the opening music to the Battleblock Theater game. Of course I couldn't resist making my little one her own Hatty Plush.

Marceline WIP

Marceline has to be one of my favorite characters from the Adventure Time series.  When I saw her plush character that was available to buy in the market I was a little disappointed.  I wasn't happy with her look and it wasn't quite what I had pictured. So I decided to make my own.  Sadly it took me a year, yes a year, to get to where she is today. Honestly I did maybe up to her torso and then she sat on my pc/work table for almost 6 months, maybe even longer (Eeek!). Last week I finally decided to finish her. Well here she is so far.
Initially I wanted to add different hairstyles which explains why her hair is not yet sewed onto her head. I think I'll just stick to her having this one hairstyle.  I do however want to make her different outfits which explains why she is partially um... dressed. I have maybe 2 or 3 outfits from the series that she wears that I would like to create for her. For now I'm just happy she is finished. It was long overdo.

Old stuff

I came across some felties that I've worked on over the past 2-3 yrs.  Starting from the top left: Usahana, Hello Kitty , Finn, and Lumpy Space Princess a.k.a LSP.  I found the pattern for Usahana from a Hello Kitty and friends felt book I purchased a few years back.
Hello Kitty's head is based off of Tarina Tarantino's collaboration she did with miss Kitty called Pink Head. This one was my personal favorite Pink Head look.
Finally, Finn and LSP felties were created from pencil sketches I made of the 2 characters based on the animated series Adventure Time.

More feltie stuffed stuff coming soon.
