Five Nights at Freddy's

Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie horror game created by Scott Cawthon.  You start off as a security guard working the night shift for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.  Pretty much its one of my worst fears as a child come in the form of a video game.  Let me shed some light as to why for those of you who stumble upon my post who never experienced the sheer and utter joy of what it was like going to Chuck E Cheese in the 80's.  I loved it! There was pizza and you ran around jumping from one game to another.  I even remember there were mini arcades that were kid sizes. What's not to like.  I remember waiting around to actually watch the animatronics move.  When they finally did it was pretty darn creepy.   Feel free to search "Chuck E Cheese 80s" under images on the internet or even youtube.  They are creepier than I remember. (heebie-jeebies).
Scott Cawthon did a fantastic job capturing that inner fear of what if these child friendly characters that we grew up with actually had free will to move.  The other part of the fear for me lies where you as the security guard are pretty much stuck in a room waiting for these things to come to you at any given time.  The only thing keeping them from you are these electric powered steel doors.  But there's a catch. You can only use so much power before the generator cuts off.  If and when it does you are completely helpless in the dark where you wait your doom.
Sounds like a dream job.

With that being said and Halloween just right around the corner I thought I would make my own Freddy Fazbear  head.  Yup just the head.

Oh, I made Chica too :D

Clickers

It's finally October and you know what that means.  That's right! Halloween and all things spooky and pumpkin flavored everything.  I thought I would make a few Halloweeny (yup making up my own words here)  themed post.
The inspiration for this one, if you couldn't tell by the small hint from the title, comes from probably one of my ALL time favorite games The Last of Us.   For me this game was everything I look for in a game.  The story was great, beautiful graphics, the voice acting was on point, I was on the edge of my seat... Ugh so good! I played this game for like 3 days straight. I just couldn't walk away from it.  Ok I can go on for days about this game but I'll stop right there.
Ok back to the Clickers.  If you haven't played this game it's about a fungus type of virus that spreads and causes a zombie-like apocalypse.  There's more to it but seriously play this game or read up on it if you want to find out more.
The Clickers are what humans turn into when exposed to the virus for a long period of time.   The fungus grows and takes over a majority of their face causing blindness.  They use a clicking sound to find their way around kind of the same way bats use sound.
